Information You Enter
A name, phone number, or address submitted through a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results. Dublin Residents Directory does not keep a copy of the query on its own servers. Messages sent to the contact address contain whatever details the sender includes and are used to answer the request.
Routine Technical Logs
The host may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps in ordinary server logs. Those data are reviewed in aggregate for site health and broad page-use patterns. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools when enabled.
How Information Is Used
Technical information supports hosting, troubleshooting, traffic counts, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles from this reference service.
External Resources
Pages point to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools. Once a link is followed, that provider's privacy terms control the information submitted there. The outside provider, rather than Dublin Residents Directory, supplies sponsored results.
Possible Recipients
Hosting and technical vendors may process server-log information while supporting the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Disclosure also may occur when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. Because there are no user accounts, Dublin Residents Directory does not hold a site password or user profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, use the contact route so it can be reviewed and deleted.
